The stop rule.
If 1,000 contacts bring no positive reply, Dylan pauses, tells you what he heard and proposes a new angle. Approve it, or leave with your deposit.
The rule
Traders use a stop-loss order for a simple reason: the moment a trade goes wrong is the worst moment to decide when to get out, so they decide before they go in. Dylan has one too.
When it triggers, Dylan does three things: he pauses, tells you what he heard and proposes a new angle.
Why it is decided in advance
The exit is decided before the first email, not after a quarter of hoping.
It matters in a small market. A pond punishes stubbornness, so Dylan proposes a new angle instead of draining the rest. Your market is a pond, not an ocean explains the math.
Your choice
Approve the new angle, or leave with your deposit. A new angle is a new promise in your name, so you approve its first emails before they go out.
Separately, if no meeting is held in 60 days, the deposit comes back. See Deposits and credits.
